Get ready to be rocked!
Caloundra Music Festival has secured a legendary Aussie band and acclaimed singer/songwriter to appear at this year’s festival – with details to be announced on Friday 21 August.
Tickets sales to the Sunshine Coast Council festival are out-selling previous years’ records by 40 per cent, with another surge expected when the second wave of performers are announced this week.
Festival director Richie Eyles said the festival buzz was continuing to build and that music lovers were delighted with the line-up so far.
However, he warned festival goers to get in quickly to snap up discounted tickets.
“The last day for earlybird tickets is 31 August, so now is the best time to buy,” he said.
Held 22 to 25 October, the festival is a quality, family-friendly event that brings top-ranking musicians to local audiences. Adding to the atmosphere, the Community Village that operates alongside the festival as a non-ticketed event showcases local talent and the work of community groups.
