Sunshine Coast Council invites Maroochy North Shore residents to be part of a community conversation on the future planning of their community at one of three workshops in early December.

To kick off the land use planning review for the Maroochy North Shore, Council wants to hear from locals about their ideas for the future and of any challenges or issues that the area faces.

The information and understanding gained from the workshop conversations will be the basis for the development of a future plan for the area which in turn will feed into council’s new planning scheme for the Sunshine Coast region.

Community conversation workshops will be held at the following locations:

Mount Coolum Room at the Sunshine Coast Airport, Marcoola

  • Saturday 6 December from 9.00am – 12noon,
  • Wednesday 10 December, from 6.00pm – 8.00pm.

North Shore Plaza (outside of Bi-Lo).

  • Saturday 13 December from 9.00am – 5.00pm

Free parking will be provided for those attending the workshops at the airport.
