Viewing PDFs

Many of the documents on this website are in PDF (Portable Document Format) and require Adobe Acrobat Reader to view. The easiest way to get an Acrobat Reader is to download it directly from the Adobe website.

If you are having difficulties viewing PDF files, try the following:

• Right click on the link to the PDF file and select "save target as".
• This allows you to save the file to your local drive.
• When the download is complete, you will be given the option to Open, Open Folder or Close.
• Select Open to view the file or locate the file on your local drive and click to open and view.

Using this website

In March 2008, the councils of Noosa Shire, Maroochy Shire and Caloundra City amalgamated to form the Sunshine Coast Regional Council.

Until the new council reviews and consolidates its operations, some of the the local council regulations, laws, plans, policies and services in existence prior to amalgamation continue to apply for the geographical areas of the former shires.

If content is not regional it will be indicated by the headings Caloundra area, Maroochy area and Noosa area.
