Community Pools

In addition to council’s larger aquatic centres, community swimming pool complexes are located throughout the Sunshine Coast.

Conondale Pool

A community facility located on Maleny-Kenilworth Road in the park directly opposite the Connondale Store. It features a 20m pool for squad training and learn to swim classes, plus a shaded toddlers pool. Contact (07) 5435 0370.

Monday to Friday: 3 pm to 6 pm
Saturday and Sunday: 2 pm to 6 pm

Kenilworth Pool

Visit the Kenilworth Pool on Elizabeth Street, Kenilworth or phone (07) 5446 0326. Facilities include a 25-metre pool.

Opening hours

Monday to Friday: 2.30 pm to 5 pm
Saturday and Sunday: 12 noon to 5 pm
School holidays: 10 am to 5 pm, seven days a week

Mooloolah and District Swimming Pool

The Mooloolah and District Swimming Pool is located in the Mooloolah State School grounds. The Mooloolah District Swimming Pool has a 25-metre pool.

Opening hours

For public access to the complex, please phone the pool manager on (07) 5494 7070. The 25 metre pool is closed to the public during winter.

Noosa District High School Pool

Located in the grounds of the Noosa District High School, Tulip Street, Cooroy. Facilities include a 6 lane 25m pool with a shaded seating area. The pool is home of the Cooroy Dolphins Swim Club and offers a squad and learn to swim program. Pomona School Pool

Located on Station Street, Pomona the facility offers a 6 lane, 25m pool with shaded seating area.

Opening hours

Scheduled to reopen to public access outside of school hours in February 2010.

Tewantin School Pool

A heated 6 lane 25m pool with a kiosk onsite and shaded seating. On offer are squad, learn to swim and aqua aerobics programs plus general lap/recreational swimming. This is the home of the Tewantin Noosa Swim Club.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday: 5.30 am to 9 am and 3 pm to 7 pm
Thursday and Friday: 5.30 am to 9 am and 3 pm to 6 pm
Saturday: 7 am to 12 noon

Tewantin Wading Pool

A family friendly facility conveniently located beside Harbour Town, Doonella Street, Tewantin. The small pool has a constant depth of 60cm and is fully shaded including the picnic tables.
