Prohibited Areas

Council regulations on the Sunshine Coast prohibit dogs in the following areas:

Council regulations also specify areas prohibiting dogs due to the sensitivity of the area:

Park	La Balsa Park Harbour Parade, Buddina (near picnic tables and barbecues)
Foreshore/Park	Currimundi Lake Southern bank eastern side to Hargeaves Street, Currimundi
Park	Porter Park Hankinson Street, Golden Beach
Foreshore/Park	Leach Park Esplanade Golden Beach to Jellicoe Street, Golden Beach (east of beach protection fencing)
Park	Eleanor Shipley Park Bryce Street, Moffat Beach
Park	Currimundi Lake Conservation Park Bareki Street, Wurtulla
Park	Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Mountain View Road, Maleny
Park	Gardner’s Falls, Maleny-Landsborough Road, Maleny
Park	Dogs are not permitted at any time in Buderim Park Forest
Beach	Mooloolaba Beach: No dogs are permitted at any time on the foreshore from the northern end of Beach Terrace, through to the southern end of the carpark fronting 48 Parkyn Parade. The foreshore is all of the beach on the seaward side of the beach protection fence south of the lifesavers’ clubhouse, all areas in front of the clubhouse and the beach and picnic areas on the seaward side of the walkways north of the clubhouse
Beach	Noosa North Shore: No dogs are permitted at any time in the area of the shorebirds resting site.
Botanic Gardens	Maroochy Bushland Botanic Gardens, Palm Creek Rd Tanawha (adjacent to the Tanawha Golf Course).
