Funding from Other Organisations
You can access grants from other organisations apart from council. You or your organisation may be eligible for external grants to:
- develop and run programs
- upgrade or construct new infrastructure
- buy and upgrade equipment.
Latest funding opportunities
Federal Government's National Stronger Regions Fund : Provides grants for priority infrastructure projects in regional communities. The Fund provides local community projects with between $20,000 and $10 million, covering up to 50 per cent of project costs.
2016 Queensland Week Sponsorship Program : Funding up to $10,000 is available to organisations and community groups to plan and host their own Queensland Week event between Saturday 4 June and Sunday 12 June 2016. Applications close 28 August 2015.
2015 Buderim Foundation Community Grants Program : Applications for funding of between $1,000 and $25,000 (co-contribution is required) are now being accepted for projects which improve the quality of life for Buderim residents. Applications close on Friday 24 July, 2015.
Local Sporting Champions : Funding to support young people participating in state, national and international level sporting championships as an athlete, coach or official.
Coles Local Community Initiatives : Support via the Coles Local Community Support program recognises grass-roots groups and organisations by providing support to help with fundraisers, raffles, community days and other activities.
