Amendments to the City Plan
Planning scheme amendments are required from time to time to keep Caloundra City Plan up-to-date and operating effectively.
Council proposes to amend the Caloundra City Plan 2004 with the proposed Draft Amendments (Round 3C), which were on public display from Monday 30 March 2009 to Friday 15 May 2009.
The Draft Amendments (Round 3C) relate to the Meridan Plains Extractive Resource Area and provide a Master Plan to manage the extraction of sand resources in this area into the future.
Each time an amendment or round of amendments is adopted a superseded planning scheme is created.
The current version of the Caloundra City Plan is 'Update 2’ (incorporating Round One amendments) released in July 2007.
The Caloundra City Plan 2004 (Update 2) replaces the Update 1 version of the Caloundra City Plan and can be viewed online from Caloundra City Plan 2004 (Update 2).
