1 - 30 May - Ward on Weeds Help age war on weeds during the month of May and support your local Community Nature Conservation Group. Bring along a bag of weeds to one of the 37 selected locations across the region and swap them for 3 native plants.

5 - 7 July - Queensland Garden Expo Queensland Garden Expo is a 'must see' in 2013 for green thumbs and novice gardeners alike. Held in the Sunshine Coast hinterland town of Nambour, at the Showgrounds, Coronation Avenue, Nambour. This three day expo is Queensland's premier gardening event attracting 30,000 visitors from all over Australia and New Zealand.
