28 March Earth Hour – global event- Turn off the lights and all appliances in your home from 8:30pm – 9:30pm to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions.SCC event - Celebrate with Family Fun, Picnic at Cotton Tree, 2.30pm-6.30pm – Enjoy cooking demos from local chefs, green-art workshops, kids’ activities and music. Tuesday 7 - Thursday 16 April Wildlife encounters; Children's holiday art and ecology workshops. Geckoes Wildlife will present an informative session on Flying-foxes. Young artists can learn how to create Fairy Wren artworks using watercolours, pastels and pencils.
