Bin Collection Days
Council's bin collection service operates every day, including public holidays.
Use the search below to find out which week your waste, garden waste and recycle bins are collected.
Garden waste bins are collected on the same day as your general waste bins (on the alternate weeks to recycling bins).

Change to bin lid colours
Council is progressively changing over waste wheelie bin green lids with red lids to comply with the Australian Standard. This is a long term project with exchanges only being understaken as maintenance issues occur with the existing lids:
- Red – general waste
- Yellow – recycling
- Lime green – garden waste
This means eventually general waste bins on the Coast will be consistent with other parts of the country, making them easier for people to use.
Search your bin collection day
Select your suburb and your street, and then search:
Waste collections occur between 6.00am 6.00pm on the day of service. A service is not considered 'missed' until after 6.00pm.
Note: You should only report a missed service after 6.00 pm on the service day but before close of business the following working day or there will be an extra collection fee charged.
Bin damage and replacement
You should report damaged or stolen bins to council's customer service centre or fill in an online form. Please note that residents are responsible for the cleanliness of their bins.
